The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped countless professions, but education was among the most significantly affected. While many institutions scrambled to adapt to digital learning, our journey towards online education began long before the pandemic. In 2016, a visionary team of academic and technology experts came together to address a critical need: more personalised learning opportunities. Through their research, they developed a model designed to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. Over Seven years, this innovative approach was applied in a live, online school environment. The result was a successful proof of concept that demonstrated how technology, guided by skilled educators, could transform learning. Building on this foundation, EdEX Online emerged as a continuation of that success.
